A holy union of two titans of the Eora (Sydney) dance underground, with their prowesses combined we are certain that if Inner Varnika had a roof it would surely ignite when these serious music women take the IV lead. While each of these mainstay deejays has their own individual reputation on these shores, and increasingly, those more far flung, it's their approach to collectivity and community that is most refreshing. Joint founders of Eora's femme-focussed dance music collective, Nectar, chronic party organisers and vocal supporters of their trade, together they demonstrate that the sum is greater than the one. We can't wait to taste what concoction of body wobbling beats they can cook up together from their wide ranging repertoires of styles, speeds and sounds.
